ABC CRAFTS WEBSITE

Hello to all my followers. Sorry for being so quiet, had a stunt in hospital and nearly got operated, but had a message that the gallstones have to wait awhile longer. Since then have been getting new stock in and busy updating the website.... so... please do go and have a look and please do leave me a comment as I would love to hear from all of you. Will soon place some new creative works on blog, packing stock is reaching the end yahooo!!!

CARD MAKING

Wow can you believe it how time flies?? My apologies for taking so long to blog more about card making.
I have been learning to make bar code label, and yes will soon be learning Pastel Accounting. Yip, one never gets to old to learn new things. How does the saying go… learn every day something that scares you… the unknown does scare me lol

Well, this card was made by colouring the flowers with crayons and then putting some Royal Coat Dimensional Magic Plaid glue on the flowers. The pearls was placed with a template from Forever Memories. And believe it or not….. this card was made by Gerhard, thanks my dear, so much appreciate it when you craft with me :-)

MOEDERS DAG

AAN ALLE MOEDERS

‘n Ma se hart is baie maal gebreek, stukkend van bekommernis, pyn, skuld gevoelens, verwyte & moegheid. Ma’s is die wonderwesens.
Sy lag tussen deur haar eie seer. Lank nadat almal gaan slaap het ruim sy nog op & bid vir elkeen voordat sy weg sluimer.
‘n Ma  maak altyd reg wat stukkend is, selfs ‘n gebreekte hart soms. Sy hou die gesin bymekaar met liefde en vergifnis. Ja, jare ndat haar kinders uit die huis is, refrein ha “lessies” steeds. Vader, gee asb al die moeders van dag ‘n spesiale drukkie
Gelukkige moedersdag !!!

PAMPOENFEES

My friend Marika sent me this photo of her 2 children at the Pampoenfees 2011. This gaint pumkin is a whole 140kg and planted by her dad on the farm. Pieter and Chloe had to pose for this gorgeous photo, what do you all think mmm

ABC QUICK CARD

My daughter was sitting and scrapping while I had to cut some page kits on the cricut, and it dawned on me that I long last visited blog.

Well, this is what I come up in a dash ! I cut the pasley with the cricut, added gems and used some beautiful rose reflection paper as backing.

EASY CARDS

Nice to know one is always trying to make life easier, but when buying new computer software and having to learn all news things again, the other tasks gets less time.
So it happened that I made some easy cards this week.
BLUE BIRTHDAY EASY CARD  Made with embossed cardstock and a spellbinder circle die cut. On top of that was placed a inchie card from Tim Holtz Idea-Ology paper stack, with a heart punched from doubleside tape. Clear gems was placed in the centre and then glitter was added on top.The happy birthday is from a confetti range.

YELLOW BIRTHDAY EASY CARD  Made with a dollie and clear gems added to cirlce. The centre flowers was attached with a silver brad. Happy birthday was printed on vellum and attached with silver brads to cardstock.

I feel cards doesn’t always has to be a long process, and easy cards is also called clean and simple cards.Cards that one can put together in a jiffy !!

FLOWER PUNCHES

Wow, I can’t believe that time has flown so fast. Sorry for being so quiet lately, but my reason is, we have been on holiday and also I have discovered this new hobby.

Making paper flowers with the most amazing punches that has arrived in South Africa the last month. Can you believe that one can make these beautiful flowers in a jiffy once you have punched out your card stock……..

These 3D flowers are so versatile, use them on cards, in your scrap pages and even frames.

.Creativity never stop, as there are always new thing to learn and make !! I’ll  have to get myself in gear and take some of the photo’s of my flower creations to share with you…..

Wow this was a very nice and enjoyable day at the craft show, as there where not a stampede yet.

It was also my birthday and Rainbow Art supplied me with this beautiful art work, for me to include some photo's and then frame it.Thanks to Prerre Bezuidenhout you made my day!!

I saw the most must have tools, like the new cuttlebug, e-craft machine, spellbinders, flower punches....   now why is it that one never has enough cash to spend  lol ( yip a typical crafters dream... money and time to use all the new stash. Oh and there was some amazing handmade articles, from a craft school in Roodepoort.

Goosh, I will ramble on all day about all the nice things, but I know it will be better if I rather place some pictures of some of the articles in due course!!!!
